johnf
How the heck do you do it. I've got all my calls sounding different thanks to some advice on here, but someone mention gobbling with them. I can't for the life of me figure that one out. Strut10
Re: Goobleing with a mouth call? You do it a lot like a feeding chuckle on a duck call. While briging your air from your belly, and cutting it with your tounge, say "tuckatuckatuckatuckatuckatuck" at the speed of a gobble. Keep a drool towel handy for the learning period. You'll be slobbering on yourself.
huntinsonovagun
Re: Goobleing with a mouth call? I do it with my voice...same method as described above, but I can do it better just with my voice. Another method is to keep your lips RELAXED, blow, and shake your head violently back and forth. Just don't let anyone see you practice this....

Is there any particuallar call that it works best with?

jbeck
Re: Goobleing with a mouth call? IMO, I try to use a heavy 3 reed cutter if I want to sound like a mature gobbler. I use a Double v groove if I want to sound like a jake. I personaly do an agressive purr with my throat, then shake my head back and forth ( a little ) to create the gobble.
