LifeNRA
Re: pattern [ QUOTE ] i read that form but does that sound like a good pattern or should i try the couple of outher shells and see ?? [/ QUOTE ] What choke are you using? Fixed or Screw-in type? If screw-in type, what is it? (I.E. full, modified, ect.) Aftermarket or gun manufacture? Many things here will effect your pattern. In my 835 I use a Comp-N-Choke XXX Full with Winchester Supreme HV 3.5" #6's. But thats my gun not yours! At 40 yards I average 49 head and neck hits. I never did the 10 circle test. I am only worried about how many hits in the head and neck I get! You should try as many different shells to see which will work the best. Buy a few from friends or family, just figure out what each shell will cost. Or buy the box! LOL! I have a few boxes here now that I will probably never use. Unless I get another gun. BTW Don! Nice article!
Guest MattA311
Re: pattern It sounds fine. If you're calling in a bird chances are it will get closer than 35 yards.. I never shoot beyond that and have never needed to. Those Rem Nitros are the cheapie versions of Rems turkey loads if i'm not mistaken.. I may have to try some of those.
