AJ
Re: Clay target thrower?????? To set up a skeet field, you need two machines. One for high house and one for low house. If by skeet you mean shoot clay birds thrown away from you, you can get some electrical traps that run on 12v batteries. The Champion 180 holds 180 clays and will throw a target about 70 yards. They run about $1500 each. Another thing to keep in mind is lead contamination. If you do any amount of shooting you will have a lot of lead down range. Your property will need to be at least a 300 yards deep for shot containment.

too_pointer
Re: Clay target thrower?????? I wonder how much time does it take to break down the clay birds, could be messy. I used to work at a skeet range and it seemed the birds were waist deep out there The weather didn't seem to help too much. too_
AJ
Re: Clay target thrower?????? It depends on what targets you use. White Flyer has a biodegradable target that degrades about 95% in about two years, depending on how much moisture there is. They leave a puff of white smoke when they are centered in the pattern vs a black puff with regular clay birds.
