muggs
Re: How Bout\' them pistons I think the Suns are the best team in the NBA...they were winning a lot without Stoudamiere, now that he's back I don't see anyone beating them. Nash is the best point guard I've seen since John Stockton, and with the depth they have they'll be tough to beat. I'd love to be able to say my Cavs are going to go deep in the playoffs, but they don't rise up to big games, and when other teams turn up the pressure they normally fold...they're a few years away from being a true contender...but who knows, if LeBron gets hot they could be dangerous. SuperMn106
Re: How Bout\' them pistons I am gonna have to go with the pistons as best in the league. The have been to the last 2 championships. Won one. Best Record in the league. I noticed the starters did not play a long time last night like they normally do. Flip is starting to rest them. They have the best starting 5 of anyone in the league. Billups is a real candidate for MVP. Muggs, i believe your Cavs can/are gonna be a force in the playoffs. Lebron is awesome and he just needs some teammates to step up with him like they have been lately. As for the suns, bringing back amare could turn out to hurt them, he is a great player but they could mess up the timing they have got with the other guys. I think the finals will be Pistons and Spurs again.

muggs
Re: How Bout\' them pistons I think the best teams are like this: 1. Suns 2. Pistons 3. Spurs 4. Mavs The Mavs are really overrated IMO, they're a good team but not as good as their record implies. Pistons are really tough, and so are the Spurs, but I jst have a good feeling about the Suns, they're sorta under the radar. All the talk is about the Pistons, Mavs or Spurs and I think the Suns are going to surprise a lot of people. - LeBron definately needs more supporting players, but don't forget, we're getting Larry Hughes back for the playoffs. A starting five of Z, Gooden, James, Hughes, and Flip Murray is tough, might be good enough to get them out of the first round, but that's about it. SuperMn106
Re: How Bout\' them pistons Yea with that 5 it will be tough. i forgot about larry hughes. The suns have flown under the radar. All first half of the season all you heard about was the pistons and they made it sound like they have the best record advantage by like 9 games and it was only like 1 or 2. I could be wrong but i just dont think that the suns play defense too good.
muggs
Re: How Bout\' them pistons No the Suns D is average at best, but Stoudamire should help that a little..at least they have a shot blocking precense in the middle. To many scorers on that team though...it is hard to go against Detriot's defense though. btw- not surprised you forgot about Hughes...seeing how a broken figure has kept him out for like 3 months?? Basketball players are soft!!! But if he can play like he was before he got hurt, the Cavs starting 5 will be solid...and we'll have a decent bench. buckbuster11
Re: How Bout\' them pistons I think Detroit is the best team, closely followed by San Antonio. Dallas and Phoenix are next but none of those teams are getting past a healthy Detroit.
Guest psejake16
Re: How Bout\' them pistons Look out for the Pacers. There starting to get there PTPs healthy. They can beat some teams in the playoffs.

muggs
Re: How Bout\' them pistons I guess I was way off on the Suns in the playoffs, I heard Stoudamire is out again...we'll still a decent team, but without him they're not winning any championships soon. [/ QUOTE ] Way off......again. Stoudamire would not have made a difference anyway. They had him 100% last year and could not win it. BTW--- "we'll"???? An Ohioan is referring to a team in Arizona as "we"? Wow.
