arrow32
We are over in the middle east trying to make peace and all with everyone it seems like now. And to me it seems like it will never happen and if i recall right in the bible somewhere it says that there will never be peace there until the end. Correct me if im wrong. And another thing i saw on the news this morning. They are supposed to have a goverment similar to our own. Right now in Iraqi a man is being trailed for switching to christian belief from muslim.(dont know if i spelled that right) Going by there laws he should have been shot but wasnt. If they have a goverment similar to ours why dont they have freedom of religion. Like i said just some thoughts ive been having all day and wanted to see what you guys had to say. johnf
Re: Just some thoughts Ive been having You're right, there will never be peace in the middle East. If you see it in your life-time do some serious praying, cause you've probibly missed the rapture. There government is set up like ours but obviously doesn't have the same laws and lacks that whole "freedom of religion" thing.
Washi
Re: Just some thoughts Ive been having It's Afghanistan where they are trying to kill the guy for becoming a Christian. I also doubt there will be peace there any time soon but maybe if Iraq turns out pretty good peace will spread.
wtnhunt
Re: Just some thoughts Ive been having Yep, the guy who converted under the former law should have been executed. Think George Bush made his thoughts public on that issue, with the taliban gone, there is/was supposed to be freedom of religion in that country. As far as I know the man has not been executed. [/ QUOTE ] Have to agree with what is said here. Think about it, this country with all the systems in place and well established we still have murders and crime. In Iraq or Afghanistan, the violence is not going to end overnight, just like we will never be able to completely get rid of it here at home. It probably is not as bad there as the media and the democrats would like for us all to think. It might take a while for the violence taper down, and whether we like it or not the media is going to continue to exploit any stories they can so long as it is a popular thing for them to do.
