Yep gas went up to 2.47 here today.

And while I know it is higher or lower depending on where you live I thought I give everyone some comparisons

1 gal. unleaded gasoline = $ 2.47

1 gal. Dr. Pepper = $ 3.71

1 gal. bottled water = $ 7.99 shocked.gif

**Dr. Pepper based on $.98 a liter at walmart

**And the bottled water based on $ 1 for 16oz bottle

What I still don't understand why everone(Including me) complains about the price of gas more that the price of bottled water, one of the most abundant natural resources in the world..

Just thought I give you something to think about.

Re: $ 2.47 a Gallon!!

not sure how much gas is here...the reason i complain is becasue when i first started driving gas was not even $1 a gallon....that was ten years ago...some of these older guys who have been driving alot longer than that should remeber how low it used to be...plus...the price in pop and water don't compare....you can buy a 16oz for $1 but at most places around here you can also get a gallon of water for $1...and who buys a gallon of pop?? a 12 pack of 12 once cans is what? $2-$3? buy in bulk....its cheaper smile.gif gas is just outragous
