huntinsonovagun Posted April 3, 2006 Report Share Posted April 3, 2006 We did some scouting this morning and heard a ton of gobbles, but we had a cool north wind come in with cloud cover. These were the only birds we saw. 2 jakes, a longbeard, and 8 hens. Getting pretty pumped up! Jakes w/ hens- Zoomed in with digital zoom- Jakes are safe until the last week. I drive about 300 miles an day on my job and today I saw 6 Different gobblers strutting, and I dont know how many hens out on green fields. I'm pumped!
