Squirrelhunter91
Does anybody else text their buds or is it just my friends? My last cell phone bill had $15 worth of text messaging. The texts were 10 cents a piece. So now the other day, my dad upgraded my line with a text messaging package. Unlimited Verizon to Verizon texts and 500 texts to anyone outside of Verizon. Now I have to kick up $20/month. $10 for the line and $10 for the text plan. Oh well, I can't complain.

Steven
Re: Text Messaging? My main source of contact with my best friend is texting these days. I usually run over night and I just text him whatever I want to say and he does the same. I have a package through cingular with unlimited texts to anyone for 5.99 a month. Shaun_300
Re: Text Messaging? [ QUOTE ] yea we always text durin school [/ QUOTE ] If you did that where I used to go to high school, your phone would be taken away reaaallll quick. Don't have a cell, I don't think many 19 year olds can say that! No need for one really, the only time I carry one (Dad's old phone) is when I'm commuting back and forth into Ottawa in the winter for my GM courses. Snow or freezing rain + Rush hour traffic + city of 1.2 Million = recipe for accidents.
The_Kat
Re: Text Messaging? I'm a textaholic. I am on the unlimited plan due to my uncontrollable need to text during class so i don't fall asleep. It's a jewel in History and Biology! Guest andymansavage
Re: Text Messaging? I mostly send pic messages to my sisters of my kid and they send me pics of my neices and nephew. I have one sis in HS and she sends me 2 or 3 messages a day from class. Work foots the bill for unlimited everything on the t-mobile Razr. The coolest thing about my cell for me is the ability to use it as a modem. Anywhere I get cell service I can plug it into the laptop and have a fast internet connection. It charges the phone at the same time. Andy

She does the same but we may average 10-per month or somewhere there in. I dont think we have every spent more then $3-$

Guest Andrea
Re: Text Messaging? Nope, no texting here. Don't really see the point. I have a SouthernLinc Radio/cellphone. Best investment in a looooooooooooooong time.
huntinsonovagun
Re: Text Messaging? Nope. Don't use them. I feel like a cell phone should be nothing more than that...a phone. I wouldn't have one, but it was a must during quail season for work. Also nice when you break down or something.

Rhino
Re: Text Messaging? No texting here either. That would mean I'd have to always keep my reading glasses with me. Heck I have to dial phone numbers using the force. No way am I ever going to bother learning what letters go with what numbers.
HarvDog
Re: Text Messaging? I use text messaging quite a bit especially when I'm in meetings or something when someone tries calling me. I also text my hunting buddies while we're hunting. It's a great (and quiet) when to pass the time and stay in constant communications with each other.
