Guilty as charged! grin.gif Except for the facial hair stuff that is.

Longer hair was in style during my college days but mine was only like down to the collar. Look at the Nuge...his hair style hasn't changed since the 70's and he's an OK guy. You'd think the younger generation would cut us a little slack eh? grin.gif

OK...quick 70's story time. A good friend of mine came back from Vietnam and went to college. Without facial hair he sort of looked like Bill Gates does here. Not exactly a girl magnet. One day after having grown long hair, beard and stash he ran into an old army buddy and said hello. Obviously the guy didn't recognize him at first. After talking for a few minutes the guy asked him "what's the deal with the new look?" Pausing for a moment he replied with one word "women". His buddy then said, "I thought you'd have a good reason". grin.gif I'll bet some of these guys had the same thing in mind for the desired look back in those days.

Re: Would you have invested??

I grew up in Bentonville Arkansas. Just before Wal-Mart went public my parents were given an offer by Sam Walton to buy 1/2 of 1% of the company for $10K. My parents didn't think it would be a good investment so they bought a rent house with the money (they had been saving). 10 years later they sold the rent house for $15K. When Sam died, that investment would have been worth $540,000,000. Yes that's the right amount of zeros.

OUCH!!!
