dg
I think the best are Easton ACC's. But I shoot Goldtip XT Hunters for the compromise of performance and economy.
Tony
Re: i have a question i shoot Goldtip 22 Series Pros for 3D. i find they fly great out of my bow, give me a fat shaft for scoring and enough speed at 63 lbs to be right at about 280 fps. foc on this arrow is 10.13 which is near perfect. in years before, i have tried to set up my bow for a little more speed. it got me no where and seemed to get me some crazy shots sometimes. also when i would go to shoots that had a 280 speed limit like NFAA and ASA i would have to turn the poundage down to get closer to that speed. this was huge disadvantage to me. i would rather shoot the same speed the whole season long , just to avoid changes. the arrow you select should be done with a few questions. are you after speed or forgivness for your arrows.? what length and weight do you want them at? are you concerned with FOC? what about flecthing length and tip weight ? i ask myself this each year before Indoor target season ,3d season and hunting and shooting Field archery. after i figure out what shot good for me last year, i ask is there any way to improve upon this. if you post what your bow is, poundage and draw length , i think we can get a better idea of what might be good for your bow to shoot.
