Turkeygirl
My sister and I were looking into getting a new bb/pellet gun. We got a cheap pistol one at Walmart which doesn't shoto worth a darn farther than like 20 yards, lol. I was looking at a Daisy pellet/bb gun at Walmart that was like $36-$40 that is, I think, 750 fps and can shoot out to about 200 yards. I was just wondering if anyone has anything of the sort they may want to sell at a good/cheap price??? Or where I might find a good deal? 007hunter
Re: Looking for... A BB gun out to 200 yards!! I think you are misreading the label. It probabbly means it is dangerous out to that distance. Sorry but there ain't no BB gun/ pellet gun that will be accuarate at that distance. I would think that even with a high end pellet gun wouldn't be accurate past 50-75 yds. And if your looking to use it for pest control I would be VERY selective about how far you shoot. Guest shedhunter
Re: Looking for... Sorry but there is no way any pellet/bb gun will reach 200 yards. I would suggest getting one with roughly 1000fps. That way it will be good for pests or plinking. A gun with 1000fps would be deadly up tp 40 or 50 yards I would guess. Squirrelhunter91
Re: Looking for... Ruth... give www.pyramidair.com a look.. They will help you out. Just shoot them an email and they will get back to you. 007 hunter, I shot a Gamo Young Hunter for several year at 640 fps and was nailing soda cans at 65 yards with a 4 power scope. I'm not trying to brag, but airguns can be very accurate at those ranges. It all depends on the shooters ability, optics & pellet weight. 007hunter
Re: Looking for... Another word of advice. If your looking for a airgun to plink with don't get a pneumatic pump one, they are a pain in the butt. Buy a single cocking break barrel. Trust me, having to pump a pneumatic one 10 times for each shot gets very tiring. Also remember you get what you pay for! Good luck.

stevebeilgard
Re: Looking for... if you buy a top of the line, $750.00 - $1200.00 beeman, you may get out to 150 yards with accuracy. (some accuracy). with a daisy, i think they are streatching it at 200 feet. if you're happy hitting a 8" target at 100 yards, the daisy is a good gun. i grew up with a red ryder, and lots of birdies and chipmonks felt my wrath. heck, i was just a kid. ruttinbuc
Re: Looking for... Heck, I would have passed the eighth grade had it not been for my Red Ryder! And my Mitchell 304 spinning reel on a Garcia rod. I was just a kid!
