Jeramie Posted April 7, 2006 Report Share Posted April 7, 2006 I was going to buy a Turkey Vest at Wal-Mart. My wife told me to wait until the next time I got paid. Stupid women... Have to be the voice of reason. Anyway. I got paid and never actually picked up the vest. I told her last night that I was going to pick one up. I decided to use that to my advantage and sneak into Bass Pro to get a "Real Vest!" I took about 20-minutes to look (Until the tornado sirens went off and they herded everyone into the bathroom area). I saw several vest the seemed ok. Some of the material was more durrable but honestly, I liked the cheapo $29 vest at walmart about 90% better! I walked out of bass pro without anything (mainly because the checkers were cowared in a corner). Im heading to Walmart as soon as works out to get one of the vest! it really had a nice setup. I liked the pocket locations and such! Then I get to rush home and load it up for the mornings hunt!!! Hopefully you all will get to see a pic of me sporting the new vest and a rio! My vest that I've had for a few years now I got at Walmart marked down to like $20 one spring at the end of the season. They have some nice ones this year.
