stick Posted April 10, 2006 Report Share Posted April 10, 2006 Well I just got back from two full days of chasing turkeys and all I was able to call in was hens. Yesterday I didn't hear any gobblers, and called in six different hens. Then today at daylight I heard at least ten different toms but none of them were anywhere near the 200 acres that I was hunting. Then I set up as close as I could get to where I had heard the toms and called in four hens and kept them around almost two hours, never had a wiff of a tom. What do I do??? thanks. Sooner or later they will get lonely and once they start nesting they might come to you! Sounds like you have a lot of hens in your area.
