Guest jduffy03
I think am going to buy a new Switchback XT within a month or 2 (til i get the $$$) and I was wondering what kind of sight, rest, and quiver u guys recommend? I have a Bodoodle 2 prong rest, and an older Archer's Choice horizontal 3 pin sight. Are either of these 2 worth putting on my XT or should I upgrade? I know I am going to get a new quiver.......just not sure what to get. Should I go with a "drop-away" rest over my Bodoodle? Will I gain much accuracy? If so.......then I should go for it. What is best guys? Thanks!
hutchies
Re: Bow setup? Where's MCH......he is the bodoodle man. I think they went closed didn't they MCH. Personally I like a fall away rest but the bodoodle would be fine. I would throw on either a Copper John Deadnuts 5 pin or a Toxonics Top Dog 5 pin. Both are very nice. As for quivers either a Kwikee or a Alpine soft lock.

preacherman
Re: Bow setup? I bought a new XT back in December. I put a Dalton Drop Away rest on it and a Fuse Profire 500 sight. You will love the bow.

rockefeller66
Re: Bow setup? here is my setup coming June 2006, also when I get the money!!!!! lol!!!!!!!! -Mathews Switchback XT 70lbs 29" or 30" -Spot-Hogg Right On -Spot-Hogg Sight Light -Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter -Mathews One Piece Quiver -Doinker A Bomb 7" Armored Hunter Plus Stabilizer -String Loop -Cobra arrow holder -Cobra Pro Caliper Release -G5 100 grain Montecs -Carbon Express Maximas 350 -4 inch Duravanes, white -white arrow wrap with a deer skull on the front -Redhawk Low Light Peep That should get the job done on those fall bucks and spring toms!! I debated between the Alpine Soft Loc quiver and Mathews but went with the Mathews cause of the looks mostly, those Alpines are nice, I had a little extra money and that is what I am going with. Also I debated between a Spot-Hogg, Copper John, Cobra, and Toxonics sight but went with the Spot-Hogg because it is indestructible, those other ones look like their oins break off easily but the Spot-hogg for about $25.00 more is ROCK SOLID!!
