jbeck
We went out to Port Clinton Ohio, on a walley fishing trip this weekend. Had a great time and limited out on fish both times we went out. We couldn't fish Saturday due to 5 and 6 ft. waves, but Sunday was beautiful. Thought you'd all like to see pics, by the way the charter captain was Tony Baird, No Rookie charters. I would say he did right by us. I would fish with him again. By the way, I didn't gain that much weight over the winter, it was cold out there. LOL

Tominator
Re: fishing trip pics [ QUOTE ] Are they any good to eat? [/ QUOTE ] You really are from the south, aren't you? j/k Yeah. Walleys are the big cousin of yellow perch. Most would consider them as good or maybe better than perch. Looks like all your fish (except for that big one on the right) are from the record breaking 1999 hatch. It's supposed to be a banner year for walleys this year. I might have to actually get up to Kelleys a couple times if I can swing it.

Tominator
Re: fishing trip pics [ QUOTE ] Are they a farm pond fish or a ocean type fish... [/ QUOTE ] LMAO Are you being serious? Walleye, freshwater. Typically like deep murky water. They do OK in small reservoirs to big lakes. Found this site for Oklahoma: Walleys in Okieland

Jeramie
Re: fishing trip pics We have em but not many! They are few and far between down here. Infact when people catch them around here it often makes some sort of news (Such as the local paper). Not real Common! Ive never seen one in person. jbeck
Re: fishing trip pics No Muggs, we were only out about a mile. We were fishing the sand flats, 8 to 14 feet of water. Didn't catch any big females, Captain said they usually won't feed till they spawn out.
