JimT
I used them for the first time today. No problem loading them for me. I shot, ran a patch, ran a patch with bore butter on it, then loaded another bullet. No troubles what so ever. They shoot very good in my Black Diamond also. DannoBoone1
Re: Loading Shockwaves Seems like a real waste, but the only way to keep either SST's or ShockWaves consistent is to discard the sabots and use MMP sabots. Sure will be glad when both Hornady and T/C quit changing sabots -- but even then, it's no telling how long it will take the oldest, older, etc., sabots to be depleted in the system. Until then, I'll be buying the newest MMP sabots.
too_pointer
Re: Loading Shockwaves I wish it was that easy slayer ! My Encore loves powerbelts, but my buddies Omega doesn't He was going to pick up some shockwaves today and try them. I think because of different bore diameters, some just load great and others are a bugger to load. I will hear about his Omega real soon on how the shockwaves went. too_pointer
AJ
Re: Loading Shockwaves [ QUOTE ] That's funny, i'm almost positve the encore barrel and the omega barrel are the same.........breech plugs are interchangeable. [/ QUOTE ] Yep, that just goes to show how great T/C's quality control is. Actually, its not only T/C, its most ML makers. There is a range of acceptable bore diameters even in the same model gun. VTbowman
Re: Loading Shockwaves Personaly I could care less if they load hard or not. As long as what I put in the ML shoots accurately and makes me confident. The shock waves are the only load that has done that for me in many years out of my ML. (50 cal. Remington 700ML) BTW will the oils in bore butter leach into the powder/pellets if left to sit long? Like a week or more? Just wondering...
