B.C. Indoors

The moment I've been waiting for is rapidly approaching. This weekend the provincial indoor championships are being held - a mere 9 hour drive from here. I'll leave after work Thursday and go about 1/3 of the way. Then Friday will be a fairly easy drive and get me to the venue in time to have a bit of practice.

The event is Saturday and Sunday, 2 Vegas targets each day. I'm hoping my shoulders don't go on a rampage and leave me curled up crying in a corner somewhere. wink.gif They've been pretty good the last couple weeks.

This will be fun, then the outdoor stuff will start immediately afterward. It will be interesting to see what 65m looks like after shooting 18 all winter.

Well, that was fun. The whole event was a real treat, but my shooting was not. I shot like a chump. Not even gonna post my scores. blush.gif In my defense, however, I blame my shoulders again. One very good shooter (won his class) stood behind me and said he could see my shoulder quivering. Cest la ie. No regrets though as it was a great experience.

BTW, I got an eye opener when I got there; turns out that only the baby x counted as 10. That was humbling very quickly.

thats is humbling when that baby X is the 10. good to see you had fun and even though you didnt shoot to hot.

it happens to most of us ametuers but the day when you shoot well will be soon in coming. which makes it sweeter. grin.gif
