MrWiggely
I was wondering how many folks have been out working up their gardens. I tilled mine up for the first time yesterday, I will probably till it 1 or 2 more times before planting in May. Wigs

Tominator
Re: Anyone work up their gardens yet? Yep. Got all my cold crops in, except for taters. Spinach, lettuce, broccoli, peas. Too early to plant the other stuff just yet. Our frost free date is May 15. Just hope it stays dry enough to till those plots.

wtnhunt
Re: Anyone work up their gardens yet? Got sweet peas up about 2 inches. Had disced up everything after burning off about a month or so ago. Sprayed roundup where I plan to plant everything else last week. Will probably disc again one last time this weekend if it dries out enough.
AaronS
Re: Anyone work up their gardens yet? My garden is very small, roughly 16' x 16'. I hoed it all the last few day to get the weeds under control. I should have done the same as wtnhunt and sprayed with Roundup a few weeks ago but time got away from me. I hope to get lettuce seed in the ground soon.

RangerClay
Re: Anyone work up their gardens yet? I wish I could till mine up but it is still too wet. I cannot till whenever I want because I have to rent one. I don't own a tiller yet but I sure would like to someday. Ranger
Swamphunter
Re: Anyone work up their gardens yet? We still have a bit of snow believe it or not! Just the remaining banks from where it was piled up while plowing.
Jeramie
Re: Anyone work up their gardens yet? I should have weeks ago. Honestly, im not doing anything until this weekend. Im going to drop in tomatoe plants, cucumbers, squash and a few other things. I really wanted an elaborate garden but have been WAY to busy. I know those things will still grow and its not to late! Smitteken
Re: Anyone work up their gardens yet? I tilled mine once a two weeks ago. I've got to go over it a few more times. I've got tomatoes and banana peppers growing under lights in my basement as we speak. They'll be ready for the garden by may. I'm also doing sweet corn and green beans. doughboy1956
Re: Anyone work up their gardens yet? We have not got much of a growing season down here. They say to plant after there is no chance of frost, and that is in mid June here.
