Tim Andrus Posted November 21, 2004 Report Share Posted November 21, 2004 Hey Guys, Just a little update. Just got back from hunting in Illinois . It was great! Alot of rain the day before the opener and opening morning made for soggy start. but I connected on a smasher 8pt (mid 140's) crawled within 110 yrds and made the shot . Shot him noon on Friday, last week he was a main fraim 10 with 3 stickers, when i shot him on Friday he had busted 3 of his tines off. Will proll score in mid 140's still, and he dressed out at 275, DNR officer said he was the biggest bodied deer he had seen in a long time. Thanks for your help. 3 states , 3- 8ptr's, Each state they keep getting bigger. NY Bow kill - 122, Montana- 130 , Illinois -144.
