Swamphunter Posted April 15, 2006 Report Share Posted April 15, 2006 I have an annoying telemarketer calling my house constantly and I have not been home when they seem to call. They call every single day and all that appears is "kansas call" and the number on the ID box. Anyone getting this one? "Kansas Call"? My question is, I was on the National "Do not call" registery, but for some reason it must have expired because the calls are starting again. Does anyone have the link to the registery list? This is the website we refer people to from my work... www.donotcall.gov Your registration is good for 5 years from the time you register, since registration began effective 1/1/05 I doubt that is your issue. I would be you have a political organization, charity or a company your already doing business with calling you, as they are exempt from the Do not call registery. Its just frustrating because if I was home to catch the call just one of the times, I could tell them to add me to their do not call list. Here's what you do...when you get a call from a telemarketer...just say in your dumbest and most childest voice..."My bicycle is really really fast!" In fact, if there was a way to turn off the ringer on my phone, I would, but for some reason, it doesn't have that capability. Anyway, I screen everything, and delete telemarketer messages. I ask them for a credit card, telling them I charge $75 an hour to talk to telemarketers. $100 an hour during dinner. Then I ask them for their home phone # so I can call them back later.
