py_archer
Color me gone. I will be carrying my Desert Eagle .50 action express semi-auto handgun loaded with 10 rounds and 4 more 9 round clips in my pocket. If you own at least 1 acre the norm this year is go ahead and check it in on a landowners permit. Highly unlikely that you will be questioned (illegal transfer of a deer tag)as game wardens have been too busy issuing farmers damage permits on farms where only paying hunters are allowed that will not shoot a Doe. The locals rationalize their actions by citing the fact that the state gives some farmers hundreds of permits (they hear all the shooting at night)while raising the cost of the tags they have to buy. Amish rarely use anything but landowner tags no matter where they kill it. State wants to set a record deer kill to appease their critics turning a blind eye to all this. They see no reason to go after this loss of revenue as they will make it up by increasing law abiding hunters permit and license fee's. dkohio
Re: Ohio Deer Gun Week!!! Did you get your tags for your vehicle this year py? Seems like Ohio is raising the cost of anything they can. I'm sure the state could have lived without the extra $4.00 per license. Hey maybe Ohio can donate some of that extra money to the school systems they are supposed supporting?
