superguide
Re: Official 2006 NHL Playoff/Stanley Cup thread well tonight sucked-Rollusson was average and too many penalties.
MUDRUNNER
Re: Official 2006 NHL Playoff/Stanley Cup thread Yep,Roloson looked a little soft compared to the previous games.Your not joking about the penalties, sheesh. How many 5 on 3's did the Ducks end up having? At least 4 I think.Officiating was mediocre at best too.I thought Pasani should have had a penalty shot when he got pulled down. VermontHunter
Re: Official 2006 NHL Playoff/Stanley Cup thread OH BOY !! And here I thought the Oilers were going to get this round done and over with quickly... Now this Carolina and Buffalo series, is way to closely matched to even call.... Either way it should make for a good final series no matter which 2 teams end up there...

str8shooter48
Re: Official 2006 NHL Playoff/Stanley Cup thread Not looking good for the Sabres. Its going to take a miracle for the injury riddled Sabres to pull this one off. Too bad when healthy this is probrably the best team in Sabres history. But its not over till the fat lady sings. . Win or lose. My hats off to the Sabres. They played great this season.
superguide
Re: Official 2006 NHL Playoff/Stanley Cup thread I watched the Memorial Cup semifinal instead-now that was fast hard hockey-got a little western at the end. The Moncton goalie got crosschecked but he should know enough to stay in his crease during a line scrum. Columbus Blue Jackets have a beauty coming up next year in Gilbert Brule-he can dangle with any European lol. The Oil and Ducks should be a good game coming up-I sure hope big Georges scores again-gotta love his celebration.

superguide
Re: Official 2006 NHL Playoff/Stanley Cup thread Well the Oilers deserved to win they had to beat the Ducks and four refs-eleven powerplays and they still won. They get a few days to heal and get ready for whomever. superguide
Re: Official 2006 NHL Playoff/Stanley Cup thread Just reading mt Hockey News tonight and in all the years of the Stanley Cup only one team has won with a nonCanadian captain and that was Derian Hatcher. Don Cherry and I rest our case on giving Europeans the 'C'. Maybe the Olympics or World Championships mean more to them than Lord Stanley.
