Shaun_300
Re: work two jobs? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I'm 19, I'm a mechanic at a GM dealership 5 days a week, 8-5. I usually leave the house at 7:10am, get to work around 7:30, leave around 5:10 and get home around 5:30. I also do vehicle detailing (cleaning) in the evenings. Sometimes I have vehicles to do in the evenings and sometimes I don't. I only started doing the detailing last week.
Steven
Re: work two jobs? I have worked 2 jobs before. It didn't bother me too much. I'm just glad I have a job now where a second job is impossible.
Tominator
Re: work two jobs? Right before I got married I actually worked 3 jobs. That lasted for 3 weeks before I had to give up my 3rd shift job at a stamp plant. I was trying to earn enough money to finance my marriage. okbowman
Re: work two jobs? I mow a few lawns as well as pastor my church full-time. The lawn mowing buys a few extra things and helps finance this hunting addiction I have!
Guest tunkhannockbowhunter
Re: work two jobs? i work 40-45 hours a week at my regular job and then i help my friend's logging business on the side, and work at my dad's business, and cut 4 lawns during the growing season, but i dont work much in the late fall and winter, so it all evens out... i think.. Jeramie
Re: work two jobs? Ive thought about it! I could really pay some stuff off but god has blessed me and I can work all the OT I want here. That pays much better than a second job! G-Daddy
Re: work two jobs? I work two jobs about half the year - have done so for 15 years. Second job is teaching classes two nights a week for three months and doing tax returns 5 nights a week and all day Saturdays for three months. Boy am I glad yesterday was tax day. Now I'm off from the second job until mid-September.
unioncountyslayer
Re: work two jobs? Is it worth it? In my opinion No. Sometimes you have to sacrifice some of the luxuries you are accustomed to to really live life and be with your family. I think as Americans we are way too concerned with money and material possessions, and sometimes forget what is really important. It took me awhile to finally realize this. It took a lot of help from the Lord. I know now that if I lost everything, I would still be happy, because I know that HE would take care of me and my reward is eternal. 007hunter
Re: work two jobs? Speaking of jobs. I just quit one of my jobs this morning. I couldn't handle two, the schedules were to conflicting and making life crazy. So in 2 weeks I will be officially down to one job!
