What a bummer day...

So I went to bed at 10pm last night, barely slept at all for reasons unknown. Before going to campus, stopped to try and get a health form for the camp I'm doing my internship at signed by the doctor on our insurance, only to be told I have to actually "see" him to get it signed, so now that is going to be next Monday at 9:30am (first day of turkey season). Then of course the fact that I feel so ignored sometimes on some hunting forums, maybe a bit on this one at times but on others more often. It's like geesh, why do people who have been members longer get talked to more or more visit their posts? Then I go to chapel and they are doing these awards for outstanding staff and students, aka who has the best grades, who's done the most volunteer work, who's life sucked the most, blah blah blah, just makes the average person feel really special, not. The weather is cold and rainy, I still have 2 classes left today then lifeguarding recertification at 7pm, so I won't be home until 8;30/9pm ish and still have to type up a paper due tomorrow. I'm really not in a good mood as you can tell, but I needed to vent so, and i'm not in a joking mood nor do I need someone's nasty comment either. there I'm finished.

Well you won't get a joke or nasty comment here. What you will get is a word of encouragement. Hang in there as we all have our day in the sun. I don't know you personally but I have read lots of your posts and I believe that you are deserving of some praise. Don't forget that there is always "someone" who knows the good things you do.

As for turkey season opener, maybe the weather may not be great Monday and that big bird will be there when you are.

Hang in there..........

You know, I've never really thought much about it. I always figured that the things I post can stand on their own merit. People will either find them interesting and want to comment, or not. Either way, it doesn't particularly bother me. Perhaps you should try applying some of those creative writing skills they teach in college English classes? Pay attention to the title of your post. Try to grab the reader's attention with a good opening sentence. That sort of thing.

Hopefuly your day will get better.
