VermontHunter
I was still wanting to do something more for Dakota and his parents, but the funds here have been alittle tight, so I came up with this idea... Here I have two 1/2 Gallons of this seasons Vermont Maple Syrup Harvest... One is Vermont Grade A Dark Amber and the other is Vermont Fancy. We will have ourselfs a little AUCTION.... We'll start these off at $15.00 each. for 1 week from 26th. and will end the bidding on Midnight May 2nd... I will ship these directly to the winner /s at no extra charge.... And the winner /s will send payment directly to BowTechTurkeyHunter (Steve). This is going for a GREAT cause and you get a little something sweet in return.... Hope I didn't forget anything... THANKS for looking FOLKS...

_MD_
Re: Something for Dakota !! OK I'm getting a little confused with all the east coast math. If I may I would like to make a recommendation. I suggest we bid like on 1 jug. The winner of the auction can take 1 or both for double the money. If the winner take only one then the second place bidder gets the remaining jug. The current bid is 37.50 per jug regular math or 75 for both(east coast math) So with that being said I pony up $40 for a jug... but then I'll take both so that's $80 Tominator... just having fun guys

stevebeilgard
Re: Something for Dakota !! sure is a kick, steve. i'll go 50 a jug, which, using the old math is.. let's see, carry the aught... one hundred dollars

[/ QUOTE ] You're right Matt if it was Wisconsin syrup, we would have to cut the price by 50% because of the water facter.... WOW !! we are up to $120.00 for both folks,, remember this is for a GREAT cause.....
Rhino
Re: Something for Dakota !! Gee, I haven't had any Vermont syrup in almost 10 years now so I gotta join in the fun here. Doesn't get any better than that! I'll go $130.00 for both. Didn't want to confuse the eastern counters witha a per jug price.

[/ QUOTE ] Well boys, I don't want to be the harbinger of bad news here but where I went to skool 1 quart (32 oz.) is one quarter of a gallon. I'm sure this was an honest mistake on Vermonthunters part but I can't believe noone else caught it. Side note: Pennsylvania Dutchmen are notoriously frugal. (That's a fancy word for cheap in case you didn't know.) You'd never get away with that this long around these parts.
