Here in southeast PA in the last couple weeks with everything becoming green, the deer appear to have little interest in the corn in front of the cam... Is this usual?

Re: Corn?

yeah, im going into experimenting with different mineral licks and combinations, they are a little more expensive but it is better than feeding the racoons corns, unless they are going to develope antlers soon... Have any of you used "Block Topper"... this stuff is crazy... it makes a eall strong scent and a crazy reaction....

Re: Corn?

i have read that corn does not have that much nutrition value for a deer, perhaps on the stalk it does, but not hard shelled corn, and yes deer here in pa are loosing their winter coats also.

Nope, corn does not offer much nutritional value to deer, but it does help some to get them in front of a camera.
