How come?

Been hearing this on the news out of Memphis for the past week or so. Memphis is having an all black mayoral meeting where some 500 mayors from around the country are meeting. I dont get it. Equality??? Discrimination??? How come blacks can create seperation from other races for themselves and it is not racism, but if there was ever a mayoral meeting where they were exempted, they would be screaming racism. Just seems racism, discrimination, and further seperation are becoming more and more regular to me and it is not called racism, because it is the "minorities" who are creating this situation.

Re: How come?

I think racism is a one way street. It only applies to those who want to "cry" it. Here's a couple more examples. Black College Coaches Association, Black College Football, Miss Black USA, Black E TV, NAACP. You get the point. If the "white man" were to form similar organizations we would be chastized to no end, not only from those organizations but people like The Hildabeast.

One other thing that falls inline with this and chaps me are the "history" months we have. Get over it, all 12 months are American History here in "AMERICA". A free country, feel free to leave.

At the end of all these types of discussions I bring up one more point. My Favorite "African American" is the PGA Golfer Gary Player.

No I'm not racist just tired of dealing with it/hearing about it daily etc.

Re: How come?

I think that far more racism exists today in the minority community than anywhere else. This is perpetuated by the minority leadership who use it as a means to maintain their power structure. And while the practice is damaging to the nation as a whole, the real victims are those very minorities that the leadership is supposedly trying to help.

Very well put Texan.

Ditto

It's racism all right, but No-one dares say it for fear of being called a racist just for telling the truth. crazy.gif It's a strange world we live in.

Very true Steve. Also have to agree that, that was very well put Texan.

Really is sad to see how things are going in the world today. Seems there is yet more hatred stemming from this type of thing, which is exactly what many claim to be trying to get away from.

Ok – that’s a total of 138 IQ between all 500 and a grand total of 500 crocks that have been put in charge of running a city/town into the ground.

[/ QUOTE ]

Simple – we’ve allowed it to happen in the past – they now not only expect it, they demand it and guess what, they’ll get it….and all because we allow it.

Where have you been? The only person on the face of the earth that can be a racist is a white person. Or at least that’s how the politically correct crowd sees it.

Really is not anything new, been seeing this getting worse and worse over the years PH. To think that they would pick Memphis is really no great surprise either.

Re: How come?

Hating people because of their color is wrong. And it doesn't matter which color does the hating. It's just plain wrong.

Anyone guess who this quote is from? It's one of my favorites and I couldn't agree more. Muhammad Ali. IF we could get rid of the "Black People are weak but it's not our fault. It's the white man holding us back.", the minorities wouldn't feel oppressed or treated like it either. It's kinda like in the BIBLE where it says how Adam and Eve didn't know they were naked until the devil helped them see through his eyes. I'll let you decide who the devil is in this situation.
