From the middle of your eyes to the tip of your nose is the same distance as the tip of your first finger to the middle knuckle

[ QUOTE ]

A billion seconds ago it was 1959.

A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.

I love math.

1,000,000,000/60 = 16,666,667 min. / 60 = 277,778 hours

277,778 / 24 = 11,574 days / 365 = 31.7 years

2006 - 31.7 = 1974 +/-

(All numbers are rounded)

OK here is some Montana trivia...

Montana has the largest migratory elk herd in the nation.

The state boasts the largest breeding population of trumpeter swans in the lower United States.

At the Rocky Mountain Front Eagle Migration Area west of Great Falls more golden eagles have been seen in a single day than anywhere else in the country.

North of Missoula is the largest population of nesting common loons in the western United States.

The average square mile of land contains 1.4 elk, 1.4 pronghorn antelope, and 3.3 deer.

The Freezeout Lake Wildlife Management Area contains as many as 300,000 snow geese and 10,000 tundra swans during migration.

At Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge it is possible to see up to 1,700 nesting pelicans.

The Montana Yogo Sapphire is the only North American gem to be included in the Crown Jewels of England.

In 1888 Helena had more millionaires per capita than any other city in the world.

46 out of Montana's 56 counties are considered "frontier counties" with an average population of 6 or fewer people per square mile.

At Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater, Florida, on June 26, 1985, organist Wilbur Snapp played "Three Blind Mice" following a call by umpire Keith O'Connor. The umpire was not amused, and saw to it that Mr. Snapp was ejected from the game.

In the 1990s the higest rate of millionares per capita was West Virginia. May still be true but havent heard the new statistics yet...

Filbert is the more official name for the Hazelnut.

To mislead the Germans about the location of the invasion of Italy during WWII, the British took the body af a man who had died from pneumonia dressed it as an officer and planted false battle and invasion plans on it ad then dumped it in the Mediteranian where it would wash ashore for the Germans to find.

An autopsy showed the "Officer" died of drowning (water in the lungs caused by the pneumonia could be mistaken for signs of drowning) so they suspected no subterfuge assuming he was carrying the plans to the allied armies in Africa and the Mediteranian when his transport was shot down. They believed the plans he carried to be legit. As a result the invasion of Italy was much easier than otherwise predicted.
