dogdoc
Re: Monster Bucks 14. [ QUOTE ] Realtree has good can hunting thats about it . [/ QUOTE ] I don't think you'll be able to back that up with facts. What hunt in the video was a canned hunt? You might want to check your facts before making as statement like that. As far as I know the RT hunts are 100% fair chase. look forward to watching the videos. todd
Straight Shooter
Re: Monster Bucks 14. The videos are awesome and the footage is as well. I believe I'd try and renig on that "canned hunt" statement. That's a can of worms you don't want to open, that lid can be shut very tight for you my friend. i agree there were also two hunts that were named inthe wrong state, but hey, if it wasn't for bloopers somebody might not have a job. Ok so you are going to tell me that Realtree has never had a video on the market that had no hunt behind a fence . Would you like me to refresh your memory and tell what volume s they are . Once a canner always a canner same gor for Mossyoak . I have always bout Realtree videos and still always do . But the proof is in their videos

tennswamper
Re: Monster Bucks 14. It's well known that all T.V. shows hunt behind fences and Realtree is no different. Now, whether or not it's a "canned" hunt is a matter of opinion. I've hunted behind fences in Texas and the deer are no less tame than outside the fence, at least not where I hunted. So, yes, they hunt behind fences but "canned"? That's left up to your interpretation.

AJ
Re: Monster Bucks 14. Putting this thread back on track, personally, I do not miss the archery tournament. It was just something I fast forwarded through to get to the hunting. If I want to see target practice, I will go to my local range. Monster Bulls 4 is pretty good also. But the proof is in their videos [/ QUOTE ] The fact is that videos in the past did contain some high fenced hunts......but most were on multi-thousand acre ranches.....the only one that I can think of that was in a considerabley smaller area was many many videos ago at a place called The Sanctuary, up in Wisconsin i beleive......... Anyways, there werent' many conpanies that DIDN't do fenced hunts back in the day, but have gotten away from it because they realized it left a sour taste in the consumers mouth.......Realtree made the announcement I think 2 or 3 years ago, that there would be no more high fenced hunts, 100 % fair chase..........everything from then on out has been the real deal

Maryland_Bowhunter
Re: Monster Bucks 14. It was Monster Bucks 2 and another one Can't find that one at this moment . The archery tourney was a good part of the videos . They said the hunts were longer this year , but theystill seemed short . They should show more behind the scenes like roadtrips

craig mack
Re: Monster Bucks 14. I finally got mine. Congrats to Tim Andrus on a fine hunt. You dont see to many people shooting a compound with fingers anymore. Reminds me when I used to have a bunch of gloves with the fingers cut off. Had some cold hands back then. too_pointer
Re: Monster Bucks 14. As far as a high fenced that R.T hunted on, yes, it was the Sanctuary here in Mi. I could only dream about hunting there, big bucks, and tons of acres. too_
Tom2008
Re: Monster Bucks 14. Haven't gotten the videos yet, but I will be picking them up soon. I've seen Monster Bucks 12 and 13 Volume II, and I thought both of them were the best hunting videos I had ever seen. The bow shoots were cool too. I remember in Monster Bucks 12 they did some pretty interesting shots.
Tim Andrus
Re: Monster Bucks 14. Thanks Craig! It wasnt this biggest Ill. buck but thru tornados and 75 degrees it was a good one for me any time or where. One thing the score was 121 not 125 dont want to mislead anyone and the begining said montana instead of Illinois. Thanks again tim
ksdeerhunter03
Re: Monster Bucks 14. Hey guys, let it rest, there is always one person in every forum that gets everyone all stirred up. I KNOW FOR A FACT that Ginger Moreheads Kansas hunt was NOT in a fence, I shot a buck out of the SAME TREE 3 days before she did and they are some of the wariest free ranging whitetails of all time. Anyone wanting to question that, come on and I will prove it. Brad
