Clinton Library Donations

Well, well. It seems that quite a bit of money - $4 million plus - for the new Clinton Presidential Library came from the governments of Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Kuwait and Qatar as well as several prominent Arab buisnessmen and officials. Now what is wrong with that? NOTHING as far as I'm concerned! But I do have to question where Democrat activists Micheal Moore (Fahrenheit 9/11) and Craig Unger (House of Bush, House of Saud) are now, considering the amount of "guilt" they have tried to place on the Bush family in the past year for their so called "ties" to the Saudi Royal Family.

Also, where's John Kerry and Harold Ickes? Kerry blasted President Bush during the campaign, claiming on October 20 that "This administration delayed pressuring the Saudis. I will insist that the Saudis crack down on charities that funnel funds to terrorists... and on anti-American and anti-Israel hate speech."

The Media Fund, a Democratic group whose president is a former Clinton White House aide, Harold Ickes, spent millions airing television commercials in swing states with scripts such as, "The Saudi royal family...wealthy...powerful...corrupt. And close Bush family friends."

The silence from the left (and the media) is deafening...

Just out of curiosity, and in the interest of accuracy; Where did this information come from? ( the 4 million + dollars)

And don't forget to read my post carefully. I distinctly said that I don't see anything wrong with the donations. I just can't figure out why Moore, Unger, Kerry, Ickes, et al aren't raising a fuss about it. I would think that in the interest of being consistent, they would be outraged???
