AJ
If you are going to have shots well under 100 yards or even out to 100 yards, just about anything on the market that has 90 or 100 grain bullets will work fine. I would go and get a box of Remington Core Lokt 100 gr and try them. A hunting buddy of mine will only use Hornady Custom factory ammo in his 270. It will give him consistant 3/8" groups. It is a very sweet shooting gun. He has never shot a deer over 50 yards with that gun though. He said Rem ammo will shoot about 1" at 100 yards. Still he insists on shooting the ammo that is priced 50% higher than the Rem. Will it kill a deer any better, quicker, or less distance to recovery? Nope.
