dg
Clemson and USC stated they would not accept bowl bids for the fight that took place this past weekend. It WAS on a large scale (fighting). But why is fighting in hockey accepted, but in football it's the big "oh my gosh, we can't do that?" hmmmmm

Tominator
Re: Sports Brawls fights in sports have been around longer than i've been around. the difference (at least in the last 20 years) with hockey and football is that incident with Clemson was a total chaotic melee. hockey now is pretty much one on one anymore. every sport is going to have their moments. i think our society breeds the violence anyway in TV, video games, etc. this is just a case of the chicken coming home to roost IMHO. The_Kat
Re: Sports Brawls My baseball team was involved in a brawl this season. The losing team shot their mouths off when we beat them in the LRC Championship. The fight broke out right in the infield at the crowning ceremony. Bothof our teams were suspended for 3 games....but man it was fun lol. But totally wrong!
