Jeramie
Re: favorite gun of choice? I had been shooting a Remington 700, 30-06. Ive killed deer with a few different cals but that was by far my favorite. Recently I traded for a Ruger M77, .243 Heavy barrel. I topped it with a Redhead 6x18x50mm glass and added a bipod. Im smoking 20oz. pop bottles at 200yds (from the ground) using Winchester Super X. I prefer Corelokt but they simply arent as accurate out of this gun... I cant wait until November so I can put some lead through a deer and see how she does!

TexasDeerHunter
Re: favorite gun of choice? My personal favorite is a Remington 700 BDL in .223 with a Leupold 3x9. Second is my Rem model 7 in .260, and third is my Rem 700 CDL in .30-06. There are alot of great guns out there and whatever feels good to you and gives you confidence should be your choice. I mainly shoot my little .223 and have no issue dropping deer out to 250 yds, but it takes practice and knowing my limitations.
Guest malikai
Re: favorite gun of choice? Mine is the Ruger 10/22 semi auto, I love it, ten shot clip, beautiful gun, and Pow Pow Pow Pow ten times. Great trusty gun, I use it for rabbit, squirrel and target shooting, I also shoot starlings, crows and other varmin like woodchucks. Adjam5
Re: favorite gun of choice? I have many guns, but none I shoot better than my Marlin 30/30. My1st centerfire and the one I have taken the most game with. It is even a NASTY varmint rifle with 55gr accelerators out to 150yards. Guest anderson3
Re: favorite gun of choice? My favorite for most things is an old Savage 99 featherweight in .300 Savage. Not much for looks, but it handles and shoots excellent.
