MCH Posted May 5, 2006 Report Share Posted May 5, 2006 You can have the Dodgers'!! We're on like a 6 game losing streak. 3 of those games we had at least a 5 run lead going into the 5th inning. Just makes me sick. And then to top it off, I stay up till midnight last night watching Tomko throw 7 innings of shutout ball only to watch him hand the ball over to the bullpen and they offer up a 3 run homer in the 8th... He can throw the ball to first base and the batter still swings. He throws a slider that starts out towards Madison and ends up somewhere near Detroit. Pull Lowe when he allows one run and then our bullpen blows it. Tie game. Luckily Nomar came through. It was bound to happen. I mean 1 out of 6 games is pretty bad odds. Actually if the Tribe had a bullpen they'd be right there with the Tigers and Pale Ho's. Their bullpen is terrible. I knew it was going to be worse then last year...losing Howry and Rhodes and others, but I had no idea it was going to be this bad. He was one of the best young pitchers in the game 2 years ago throwing that 97 mph heat and wicked slider. Now he can barely break 90 and can't keep his ERA under 6.
