Look what Walmart did

Some of you may recognize the picture I posted in late March. However the picture you saw then was on the last half of a roll of film and this one was on the next one. Anyway.... I stopped in to pick up the pictures and the girl at the counter says, "Mr. H. we offer this new service at Walmart. Do you like what we did with your picture?" It took only a second to make up my mind, "SOLD!" I replied. It was nice of them to work with the picture without being told to. Now I have to find a nice fishing picture frame for the 8x10.

Re: Look what Walmart did

That's awesome. I had one done of me a long time ago at an amusement park, posing as a Chicago Bears football player. Not sure what I was thinking at the time. Must have been the time of the Super Bowl shuffle.

As far as Wal-Mart stopping the selling of guns. I've heard it is only going to be in certain stores where it has become a hassle I guess. The have been remodeling the first SuperCenter they built in Fayetteville and when going back to sporting goods I noticed no gun racks or cases, which is a disappointment, but, I don't like going to that store anyways. The Wal-Mart closest to me is going to be replaced by a SuperCenter late this year, already started building, well, lot clearing at least. Hopefully they'll still sell them.

That is really cool, however I am not so sure I like the idea of wal mart fooling around with my pics without my permission.

Talked with the gun counter guy at our supercenter about two weeks ago about this, and he assured me that only 1000 stores out of 3000 are stopping selling guns, and of those several currently do not sell any guns anyways. Was a relief to hear that he would continue to keep a good number of guns stocked in his store.
