slughunter Posted May 8, 2006 Report Share Posted May 8, 2006 well not much of a story to this guy, slept in on sunday morning and woke up to a huge gobble about 30 yards outside my window at about 7:50 am. looked out the window and there he was in full strut with 4 hens and a jake with him, so I grabed my shotgun and blasted him, he was done without any kicking or floping. I would have to say that it was one of the easiest trukeys I have ever shot in my hunting career. he has a 10 1/2 inch beard and weighed in at about 25 pounds. here he is: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
