Reloader Posted May 8, 2006 Report Share Posted May 8, 2006 OK what game meat (animal not just cut) is your favorite? I have enjoyed Elk, Mule deer, Whitetail, Squirrel, and Rabit. So far i think White tail is my favorite. I have heard very different reports on a couple animals, Caribou and black bear have both been alternately reported to me as "disgusting don't ever hunt them" "good meat" or "best meat I've ever tasted" So which is it?? I don't know if anything I haven't tried yet could be worse than mulie venison. No offense to the mulie hunters but being someone that hates liver, I don't care to ever see mulie meat on the dinner table at all again. Sadly, beef is probably my favorite. Here is the order.... Beef (Medium Rare over some Kingsford) Crab (Boiled) Shrimp (Just about any way) Lobster Chicken (Grilled or Fried) Pork (Just about any way) Fish Deer Buffalo (Great taste but weird Texture) Turkey (any type) Squid Rabbit Squirrel Gator Clams Crawdads (crayfish) Lamb Goat Snake Eal and thats pretty much all I can think of right now.... I did not associate fish or seafood as meat! But like the PETA program where they make field trips to my grandkids elementary schools dressed in giant fish suits encouraging kids not to eat fish because fish have feelings too and you just want to go up and slap them. Then during the calamari appetizer a small giggle escapes followed by hysterical laughter as i give my grandchild a nice meat sandwich for all to see, while pointing my finger at the PETA"S.( I won,t say in what direction my finger was ) Seafood will go to the front of my list.
