SuperMn106
has anyone ever used this? My brother and I are planting about an acre of this stuff, we are also planting Tecomante Ultra Forage .5 acres, Bio Logic New Zealand Full draw .5 acres, Bio Logic New Zealand Clover plus .5 acres, and the guy who farms our field is giving us enough soy beans to plant about 1.5 acres. so hopefully i will have some pics up. We are planting next weekend.
Born2Hunt
Re: Whitetail, Instituite Power Plant? We were going to plant it but we have plenty of food plots already. The Biologic products did not work well for us at all.(just us and our opinion)Please let us know how the powerplant works. Marc
SuperMn106
Re: Whitetail, Instituite Power Plant? Marc, i will definitly let you know how it works, we used the bio logic products before and had good results with the full draw but not the clover. we had an extra bag of the clover here so we thought might as well plant it. wtnhunt
Re: Whitetail, Instituite Power Plant? Have never used it and dont know anyone who has, but would think it would be at least a decent product coming from Whitetail Institute. The full draw here would be a waste of time. Even if you can get it to grow well, the deer just wont eat it.
AaronS
Re: Whitetail, Instituite Power Plant? Be sure to follow the planting instructions and have good ground preparation. I tried planting 1/4 acre of Power Plant a couple of years ago when it was new on the market, but I didn't have the proper equipment to work the soil well. I tilled and broadcast but had to way to cover the seed. Some came up but most didn't. I'm sure if I could have done it right it would have done well. I've had great luck with other Whitetail Institute products.
FSU_Seminole
Re: Whitetail, Instituite Power Plant? I've never used it but I've heard its easy to plant and it grows well. All power plant is, is a combination of a bean, sorgum and pea mix. Tecomate came out with Lab Lab plus a few years ago & power plant is the same thing, just a different name.
