OJR
Re: ***New West Coast \"BALD-EAGLE CAM\" *** They are starting to eat some fairly large fish! Both of the eaglets are growing and yesterday they started to walk on their feet instead of on their legs! Amazing!!!

buckee
Re: ***New West Coast \"BALD-EAGLE CAM\" *** It's a big nest. Sometimes they go behind the tree (to the left of screen) I wish they would back the camera up, just a tad
BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: ***New West Coast \"BALD-EAGLE CAM\" *** I know its not the same thing but when I raised my Blue and Gold macaw I couldn't believe how fast he grew ... I mean over night he would have quills and the next day he was almost all blue with feathers ... its trully amazing to watch how fast a bird grows ... especially when everything is right .. OJR
Re: ***New West Coast \"BALD-EAGLE CAM\" *** [ QUOTE ] Well, did the babies fall out or what?????? [/ QUOTE ] They are to the left side of the tree again. It must be more shade on that side and it seems they were pretty hot for a bit today! Keep checking and I am sure they will be back. Nap time after eating like pigs! LOL!! They are getting more active every day!
OJR
Re: ***New West Coast \"BALD-EAGLE CAM\" *** I believe that someone did some pruning of the branches! It looks like they moved the camera also! The eaglets are still growing at a very rapid rate! The adults are going to busy getting more food for them! It is going to be interesting when they start tearing the food off by themselves!

slugshooter
Re: ***New West Coast \"BALD-EAGLE CAM\" *** Looks like all they want to do right now is sleep. A little bit ago though I thought the two of them were gonna start scrappin, they both got up and started ruffling their feathers at each other, then laid back down. I want to see what momma brings them back to eat.
slugshooter
Re: ***New West Coast \"BALD-EAGLE CAM\" *** I think one of em just pee pee'd. The lighter colored one just turned so his head was behind the tree and I saw a short burst of liquid shoot across the camera view.

The adult has the two little ones under it's breast and I have never seen a sorrier sight! Talk about some "wet hens"!! The only thing you can see of the little ones is their backs and rear ends! The adult is one soaked thing! Really protecting the little ones!! Learn something every day!!
