huntinsonovagun
Biologic advertises this new product as "Roundup resistant" but I knew soybeans already resisted roundup. In fact, they'll wilt up a little, then explode in vegetation! Anyway, I didn't know corn would not be killed by roundup....is there a certain species of corn that will survive being sprayed by Roundup??? I like the idea of a week-free plot.......but I can't see paying Biologic's prices when I can mix it myself for a fraction of the cost. Any info would be good... AaronS
Re: New \"Biomaxx\" Just like Roundup Ready beans, there is now Roundup Ready corn. You can buy the Biomaxx, or buy the RR beans and RR corn and mix your own. Best of luck with it, I think it will make a great plot.
wtnhunt
Re: New \"Biomaxx\" [ QUOTE ] I like the idea of a week-free plot [/ QUOTE ] Mean weed free? Someone posted about this in here before. Think someone said you can buy rr corn. Might check your local coop. Think another name brand seed producer is also marketing and selling a mix of rr beans and corn too, just dont remember who it was. I would not use biologic products personally myself anyway. LETMGROW
Re: New \"Biomaxx\" I just bought RR corn from a local supplier @ $108 per 50# bag. There are several brands on the market now. I also bought RR soybean, can't remember the price as the receipt is down in my office.
