Shaun_300 Posted May 11, 2006 Report Share Posted May 11, 2006 I have this Friday off for our annual fishing trip, I'm heading up north to Mattawa after work tomorrow to meet up with my uncles for the weekend and go walleye fishing. It used to be a trout fishing trip until last year when we found out how well the walleye bite on the Ottawa River up there! I couldn't make it last year, but they went up and caught 40 walleye in two days of fishing. I'm really looking forward to it, it should be a blast. We had a great day fishing today, it rained for a little while this morning and a little this evening. But all in all it was good! Today's total was 41 fish, 40 walleye and 1 whitefish, so I guess we're doing not too bad so far! Still another day to go. Can't wait to have a good snack of walleye.
