Turkeygirl
I don't know what happened because I shut my alarm off at 10 to 5 and went back to sleep, lol. Besides just being exhausted, not hearing any gobbling and not sure where there is a tom and whether he's alive or not does not give one alot of motivation. It is suppose to rain today and this weekend so I'm hoping this is good news and the turkeys will be in the fields and will include that tom. I'll probably go out tonight it not thundering and look at the fields and go out to the field by the gravel pit in the am before graduation rehersal. As much as I love hunting, sometimes it is too much of a challenge.

borch
Re: Well, this morning.... Don't put so much pressure on yourself to thump one. Just plan on going out and enjoying the day. That's when the big guys show up! If you've got hens, toms will be there. You've just gotta be there when they are. Good Luck!
maytom
Re: Well, this morning.... The weather man was calling for rain today so I slept in as well. After getting up at 3:30am for two days in a row, then at 4:30am for work yesterday, I wanted to sleep in this morning, BUT!! it didn't rain out and I could of went out for a few hours!! Look's like rain now any minute though!! And it's suppose to rain right through the entire weekend as well.
