Re: GPS units???

I would invest a little more money into a better GPS unit. Especially if you do alot of backcountry hunting. I bought a Garmin Rhino two years ago, and it works flawlessly. I forget the model number but it cost me about $500. We do alot of backcountry hunting in CO, so I wanted to get the best I could afford at the time.

Remember, you get what you pay for. If your lost in the wilderness and your GPS craps out, your done!!!!! Alot of cheep GPS units lose satellite communication easily and are not made as well as top of the line brands.

But if your using it in a rural or suburbian setting, the that one may be ok.
