Steve has set up the laptop and given me a camera..my job tonight is to keep you all informed of the progress here at the fundraiser. At this point there is roughly 125 people here The silent auction has begun and items have started to leave the building (I haven't emptied Steve's wallet...YET). [/ QUOTE ] Sorry I lost connection for a while..I'm now playing Steve. Great idea, however they wanted all items gone and paid for by tonight. The majority of the items were from business in the area aside from tastefully simple and pampered chef items. This connection is really bad here, so I will attempt to keep you more informed. The fundraiser has been a huge success...with cover charge and silent auction they raised $5500.00 with another $200 to come from the Case's church!!!! The family sent out their appreciation to the forum members for all we have done for the family. While playing camera women and reported tonight I believe we have recruited many new members. He and Kimberly are on the freeway driving home right now, after having a nice breakfast with the Case family. He sounds a bit tired We lost our connection ....bummer ....but they'll be home soon. Steve was telling me how Dakota is just an awesome musician and how he played a solo at the fund raiser, with his Dad Chuck on drums. I can't wait to see the pictures. Dakota was smiling all night and seemed to be in a great mood. I met steve and his wife Kimberly. They are also wonderful people. I showed up late due to the fact that my wife graduated colleged yesterday afternoon. I was also exhausted so i left a little early but I saw alot of smiles and really enjoyed myself. Steve and I were feeding off eachothers energy while holding out on Dakota. It was a great time and some good fun. He did get his rifle in the end.
