elnor
Is a Diamond bow simply a lower cost Bowtech, or are there more significant differences between them? I see from Bass Pro's Archery catalog that they are selling "Diamond by Bowtech", but not Bowtech bows. I'm curious to know if Diamond is a low cost subsidiary of Bowtech or else how they're related and how their bows compare.
VermontHunter
Re: Diamond versus Bowtech WHAT IS A DIAMOND? Diamond ia a subsidiary of BowTech, the fastest-growing bow company in the history of the industry. We have sold more bows in our first four years of existence than any other bow manufacturer. This is the result of a business philosophy that truly focuses on quality in every facet of our organization. Diamond by BowTech is a Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Care company that focuses on two critical customer concerns: the quest for the highest performing and most dependable bow equipment in the world, and the need for unparalleled follow-up service after the sale. Design - Good design must meet the two objectives of functionality and aesthetic appeal. Diamond bows are superior in function to any other bow in the mid-range price point class. Engineering - The technology of materials and components, as well as the design and testing of our products, is rapidly evolving. We will continuously enhance our engineering capabilities by inventing and keeping abreast of the latest technologies. Manufacturing - The execution of our exhaustive research and development reflects our commitment to quality at every stage in the process of putting a bow in your hands. Precision tolerance and quality control of every bow are just two components dedicated to excellence in design. Customer Care - We are the guardians of our bows regardless of their stage in life. Our Lifetime Warranty says all there is to say about that. By focusing on the bow after the sale, we focus on you. This reputation for comprehensive customer care extends to every Diamond owner, as well as our entire network of authorized dealers.

PAbowhunter4life
Re: Diamond versus Bowtech Diamond bows are essentially last year's Bowtechs. They're everything a Bowtech is, minus the newest bells and whistles for this year. I have not heard a single negative thing about Diamond bows so if you are looking to get one, I think it's a good choice.
Guest PAT_PATTERSON
Re: Diamond versus Bowtech Diamond Bows are Bowtechs, I talked with Todd Snader of Bowtech last week and we had this conversation. I mentioned the fact they were not making single cam bows (Bowtech) and I really didn't want a dual cam or binary cam bow. He told me that Diamond was their single cam line now. If you look no Diamond bow is a dual cam or binary cam, all single. He said they were all being built in the same house just no more single cam Bowtechs by that name now Diamond by Bowtech. That bow is pretty sweet Diamonds are more economically priced but good bows.

VtBowhunter
Re: Diamond versus Bowtech Diamond is the more affordable brand from Bowtech, much like Reflex is for Hoyt, or Parker is for Mathews. These smaller branches of the companies were developed to allow the big companies to get their bows into the huge chainstores at more affordable prices for the consumer. Guest chris
Re: Diamond versus Bowtech Diamonds are really good bows for the money. But there is a difference between them and the binary cams on the Bowtechs. If you compare apples to apples for axle length and brace height the binary cam bows are going to be WAY faster. [/ QUOTE ] This is exactly right...for example, take Dick's sporting goods. It is a huge sporting goods chainstore, but you wont find, bowtech, mathews, or hoyt....but instead diamond, parker, and reflex.
