Guest generallee
These are some pics of the foodplots me and my cousin planted about a week back. My camera is not very good at all, so the pics are kinda blurry, but you can get the idea. We planted three different plots, but the picture post was messing up so i can only post pics of two of them. These are some before shots of the first plot [image][/image] [image][/image] This plot was planted in white clover and here are some pics of what it looks like now [image][/image] [image][/image] [image][/image] This is about a 3/4-1acre plot planted with clover and alfafa [image][/image] We used my cousins 4 wheeler and rented Antler King's Sodbuster atv disc, and it did real good. We planted close to 4 acres that day with the atv and disc. I will try to post pics of the other plot if i can get the pics to load right. QDMAworks4me
Re: Wisconsin food plot pics Looks nice. I have always wondered how the atv disc's work, looks like it did the job here. Hope the next pics we see everything is green. QDM
WIDeer4Life
Re: Wisconsin food plot pics Looks good general, should bring in the big ones. I have a question though...I plan on planting my own plot this summer and was wondering where you rented that atv disc from. Im from Wisconsin myself so Im just curious because I might be needing some type of disc/plow setup.
Guest generallee
Re: Wisconsin food plot pics Me and my family is originally from Viroqua in vernon county. About 30 miles from lacrosse. We rented it from Nelson's agri-center for 50 bucks for 24 hour rental. Nelsons is just a small town feed and seed type store with a decent selection of rental equipment. A lot of these places are beginning to get an atv plow like this because foodplots are becoming so popular and there are a lot of deer hunters in wisconsin. Im sure there is a farm and fleet or feed and seed store near your area. Just stop by and check out whether they rent equipment.
