AaronS
Re: Anyone seen these There was a member here that has one, a guy from Texas. I can't remember his real name, but he had a fixation with Bigfoot. I haven't seen him around in a while. Maybe Bigfoot got him. Anyway, he used the light for hog hunting at night. Think that would be JB. Someone said he got married, kind of funny because JB was like the president of a women haters club or something. Anyways, about the light, think raccoons are the only thing legal to hunt here at night. Have seen some lights that attach to rifles in cabelas catalogs, so dont think this is really anything new. MUDRUNNER
Re: Anyone seen these I use to use an adapter that would mount a mini mag light in my stabilizer hole.It worked pretty good for finding my stands at dark 30,but it always would rattle loose. MUDRUNNER
Re: Anyone seen these It says it's legal to use on hogs at night in Texas. In the wrong hands I could see it being a problem, but if it's legal to use on your quarry it looks like it would work pretty good. Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Anyone seen these Yep, hogs and varmints are both legal to hunt at night in Texas - with or without a light. Some places have feeders set up with solar powered battery lights near them and folks will sit and wait on the porkers to show up in the middle of the night. BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: Anyone seen these Yah know I gotta vent here ... this is rediculous that just about everyone in here is taking this product and making it into some sort of a poachers dream ... this light has so many other uses and only a couple here have even mentioned them ... how pathetic that us as hunters have to go negative with a product like this or any other ... the light wouldnt make the poacher ... the person makes the poacher and there is no other way around that ... its exactly the same argument as guns dont kill ppl ... exactly ... I can go buy a hangun and 10 mins later I could shoot someone with it ... does not mean I am gonna but I could ... where this light is legal it would come in very handy .. the animals cant see it ... it has many uses ... I guess I get tired of all the negativity ... its always the bad side ... take for instance the muzzy post with the 4 blade broadhead ... someone took that and turned it all negative by saying they copied it ... I mean common folk this isnt what its all about here ... Rant off!!!!! Steve
wtnhunt
Re: Anyone seen these Gotta kind of agree with you Steve, poachers are going to do what they are going to do whether this light is on the market or not. Maybe the product might make it easier for them, but they are still going to poach until they are stopped.

I guess we must have more sorry, no good, spotlighters around here than some of you do. snapper
Re: Anyone seen these I think people react negatively towards products/people etc...because they don't know! Unfortanely, these negative comments happen every day in life and on the computer. It really stinks when you read neg. comments on somthing you may or maynot like...but the comments are coming from folks who really don't know. Its the moderators job to try and ease the tension in such threads...but sometimes we just get jumped on for sensorship! As for the product...I see nothing wrong with it. A light isn't going to make the honest person poach. The not so honest person that already poaches...will do it either way.
