ricfirefighter Posted May 17, 2006 Report Share Posted May 17, 2006 ive been going through a devorce left the ex everything except my truck and personal things she has her car that i helped pay off few yrs back now she is holding up the devorce and trying to cheat me out of my truck she doesnt want it just doesnt want me to have it SD is a 50/50 state so im intitled to alot more then i asked for now it looks like we will be going back to court im so tired of this told her if she made me go to court i was going to ask for everything i have coming her lawer already told her that i can get 1/2 her 401k not to mention alot of other little things just want it to be over but if i have to fight i will and win Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The only way I would see being so spiteful is if my husband cheated on me. Then you had better believe that it would be WAR. Otherwise, I would try and talk things out and not be so darn greedy. I don't know why, sometimes it's the man sometimes it's the women, but in most divorces I hear about one of the party's getting greedy, and just causing alot of extra heartache, and expense than is really not needed. She is by the sounds of it trying to take advantage of your generosity, but you have to protect yourself man. Try to keep a calm head, but don't get pushed around either.
