wtnhunt
Never used to have problems with UPS so long as our regular driver was not on vacation, but lately they must have some new drivers or something. Ordered some parts for my mower a couple weeks ago from sears. I contacted sears yesterday, because I figured I should have had them by now, they then gave me a tracking number which when I checked said that the package was delivered to my carport last wednesday afternoon, while I was at home. I dont have a carport, but do have a garage. Would think I would have noticed a big brown truck pull up, but it never did. Have had stuff in the past on several occasions delivered to the house closest to us about 1/3 of a mile away under their carport. That house has been vacant for about 6 months. So I go this morning after dropping my 10 year old off at school and look and it is not there. I call UPS and am on hold forever, and they tell me they will have the local center call me within the hour, but that I need to call sears to have them file a claim, that they cannot help me until sears takes action from their end. UPS has still not called me back. So I call sears and was on hold or on the phone with them for probably 30 minutes before somewhat getting this resolved. Sears is sending me the parts out in another order again with UPS against my request, I am still really ticked with UPS. Really stinks to have to go looking for a delivery, also kind of raises questions as to just where my stuff did go to. Got to be another thief around
too_pointer
Re: UPS-Thanks a lot I hear ya on the crappy UPS. I don't even have to sign for most of the stuff that gets sent to me, they just leave it anywhere they feel. I once had a new hunting jacket that sat for two in the rain, before I noticed it sitting behind a bush !! too_
horst
Re: UPS-Thanks a lot That stinks, but I gotta wonder, what would a thief do with lawnmower parts Hed probably have to go buy a mower to use them on

doughboy1956
Re: UPS-Thanks a lot Hope it gets to you this time William. Like you, I would not want to deal with them. but if Sears picked them, guess you can take it out on the driver.

UPS did finally call me back this afternoon, the woman really did not seem to be at all apologetic for their mistake, but did say the driver was going to come out and try to find it .
