It is their nice way of punishing me Now I'm shopping for a new credit card with a low interest rate. Any recommendations??? Ranger

Steven
Re: What\'s in your wallet? No credit cards here. I can't justify buying something I don't have the money for, and paying an extra 18% for the priveledge of going into debt.
Tominator
Re: What\'s in your wallet? Recommendations for a credit card? That's like recommending Marlboros or Neports. Stay away from them if you can. We haven't had one in close to 10 years now. Just a debit card. My wife had absolutely zero discipline with them. archerjg
Re: What\'s in your wallet? I have two a Credit union mastercard and a DU Mastercard. The credit union is 12% interest and the DU is 10% interest. The college I go to won't accept anything, but credit cards for my classes. I pay them off at the end of the month and there is no problems. Archerjg

VermontHunter
Re: What\'s in your wallet? The wife has the only credit card of the household and we made sure it only had a $2,000 MAX limit, and it's only used for traveling or emergencies.. wtnhunt
Re: What\'s in your wallet? MBNA offers me the lowest rates I have seen lately with our platinum accounts with them. Can get a no interest transfer from them right now up to my limit on both of our cards with them and pay no interest until February of next year, after that it goes to 11.9%. For purchases right now I think it is currently at 6.9% with them. We used that option when we bought our 4 wheeler a couple years back, I took enough to buy the 4 wheeler outright, and pay off our loans on our truck and yukon. Paid $75 for the transaction and paid off the money well before it was due. Saved us maybe a couple hundred in interest on the auto loans alone by paying them off. We however never carry any balances on our cards. I primarily use my cabelas visa like a deferred check card. We never charge more than we have in the bank, and we earn points for regular everyday purchases like gas and groceries.

muggs
Re: What\'s in your wallet? My Dad just transferred his credit balance to a Visa account, he got 0% and that balance, for the life of it...and I think somewhere in the ballpark of 9% on new purchases. I can find out exactly what it was. If you're interested PM me.
